November 15, 1921 — March 11, 2017
Cathy Lou Cheatham Wilson, age 95, went home to be with the Lord, on March 11, 2017. She was devoted to her family and a blessing to all she met. Cathy was an avid reader and seamstress. She was a faithful member of Lakeshore Church in Byram, MS as well as Victory Church in Florence, MS.
Cathy is survived by her daughter and son in law, Brenda and Johnny Mardis of Brandon, MS; grandchildren, Chris Mardis (Amy) of Madison, MS and Jennifer Durley (Clay) of Collierville, TN. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren,
Caroline and Hannah Mardis and John Clay, Webber and Benton Durley. Cathy is preceded in death by her parents, William and Mamie Cheatham; her siblings, Carrie, Dufer, Clyde, Leo, Robert and Oakly Cheatham; her husband of 69 years, Horace Wilbourn Wilson; and her children, Gerald and Carolyn Wilson.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 15, 2017 from 10 until 12 Noon at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Memorial Services will be held in the Ott & Lee Chapel at 12 Noon. The family will also receive friends and family at Lewis Funeral Home in Magnolia, AR on Thursday, March 16, from 10 until 11:30 am followed by a graveside service at Magnolia Memorial Park at 12 Noon.
