Charlene Kennedy Brown, 87, passed away at Brandon Nursing and Rehab in Brandon, MS on Wed. July 3, 2013. Visitation will be held Sat. July 6, 2013 from 11am.-12pm. at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Richland, MS. Graveside Services are 1pm. on Sat. July 6, 2013 at the Pinola Cemetery in Simpson County.
Mrs. Brown was born in Canton, MS on Oct. 6, 1925 to the late John Kennedy and Mittie Broome Kennedy. She was a beautician and she lived at Brandon Nursing & Rehab from Feb. 1, 2001 until July 3, 2013.
She is survived by her friend and guardian, Gladys Jordan (Bobby) of Richland, MS. Mrs. Brown is preceded in death by her husband, John Carlton Brown of Pinola, MS; two sisters, Maxine Brewer and Christine Westerfield and her brother, Edward Kennedy all of Richland, MS.
