Charles “Eddie” Cook, 53, passed away Sat. Sept. 24, 2011 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held Mon. Sept. 26, 2011 from 5pm.-8pm. at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Richland, MS. Funeral Services will be held 2pm. Tues. Sept. 27, 2011 at the funeral home with interment following in the Clear Branch Cemetery.
Eddie was born in Jackson, MS and has lived most of his life in Rankin County. He attended Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Clear Branch, MS and enjoyed fishing, camping and hunting, especially rabbit hunting. Eddie is preceded in death by his father, Bud Cook and his sister, Ann McMullen.
He is survived by his mother, Marie Cook; his beloved friend, Ouida Smith; four children, Mark Cook (Shannon), Charlie Cook, Christy Cook and Lindsey Cook; two sisters, Janette Yount (Lester), and Sherry Langley (Kenny) and six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
