Charles Davis

Charles W. Davis, age 89, a resident of Forest died Thursday, October 5, 2017 in Jackson following an extended illness.

He was born on April 17, 1928 in Yazoo County to his parents, Charlie Davis and Ula Inez Green.  He was a man of the Christian faith.  He retired from  the B.C. Rogers Poultry  Processing  Company  in the Maintenance division.

Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his parents and a son Charles Randolph Davis.

Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Ruby Davis of Forest;  4 children Mary D. Jolly (Jessie) of Morton, Eva Hillman of Union, Wayne Davis (Ellen) of South Haven, Bobby Davis (Melissa) of Forest; 2 sisters, Ruth Carver (Bob)  and Mazel Hope (Bob)  all of Vicksburg a brother,  John Harrison Davis (Nell) of Terry.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
