Charles Ray Dixon, 76, went to be with his Lord on Friday, June 2, 2017 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be Sunday, June 4, 2017 from 1 pm until 3 pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services will be held Sunday at 3 pm from the Chapel of Ott & Lee with burial to follow in Zion Hill Cemetery in Braxton, MS.
Charles Ray was born on May 22, 1941 in Brandon, MS to the late Charlie Douglas and Lizzie Lou Boggan Dixon. He had been a resident of the Brandon area for over 45 years. He was a member of Skyway Hills Baptist Church in Pearl. He was a self-employed truck driver for over 50 years.
Survivors include his wife of forty nine years, Barbara Dixon of Brandon; son, Michael May (Hollie) of Goshen Springs, MS; daughter, Dawn Dixon Bradshaw of Brandon, MS; brother, Fred Dixon (Peggy) of Cato, MS; three grandchildren, Angel
Bradshaw Lewis (Chris), Christy Phillips (Lane), and Justin May; and five great-grandchildren, Landon Lane Lewis, Hadley Anne Lewis, Will Page, Christopher Page, and Timothy Page.
