Charles Milton Foreman Sr., 80 , passed away Thurs. Dec. 30, 2010 at the Crossgates River Oaks Hospital in Brandon. Visitation will be held Sun. Jan. 2, 2011 from 2pm.-5pm. at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Graveside Services are 11am. Mon. Jan. 3, 2011 at the Brandon Memorial Gardens in Brandon, MS.
Mr. Foreman was born and raised in Jackson. He graduated from Central High School in 1949, where he played all sports. He taught swimming and diving at the Livingston Park Zoo and also served his country in the Army, 82nd Airborne Division, 18th Airborne Core. Mr. Foreman and his wife were avid fishermen, and he enjoyed hunting and water skiing. Most of all, Mr. Foreman was a loving family man who adored his children and grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Doris A. Foreman.
He is survived by his daughter, Mary Liz Austin (Stuart) of Brandon; his son, Charles Milton Foreman Jr. (Lori) of Ridgeland; two grandchildren, Amanda Hobbs (Craig) of Brandon and Amy Austin (Phillip Williams) of Brandon; one great-grandchild on the way, Henry Charles Hobbs, and Charlie and Lori’s son, Shaun Guillott and his daughters, Alyssa, Alexa, and Alayna.
