Charles "Charlie" Hall left his earthly home on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 to be with his savior.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 16 from 2PM-3PM at Forest United Methodist Church with funeral services beginning at 3. A graveside service will follow at Eastern Cemetery in Forest, MS.
Charles was born on October 3, 1935 in Memphis TN to Sydnor Hall Sr. and Kathleen (Schultz) Hall. He moved to Forest as a young child, graduating from Forest High School and attending East Central Jr. College before going to work for Sunbeam Corp where he remained for 19 years. Charles was a resilient hard worker his entire life having just recently retired from Nuway Cleaners.
At the age of 4 Charles lost his father in an aviation accident involving his personal aircraft that he loved to fly. This led to his lifelong interest in aviation history. Charlie was a big kid at heart and truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures. He was an award winning tennis player, a devout Christian and a member of Forest United Methodist Church where he shared his love of music by singing in the choir. He was an avid Ole Miss fan and it was a weekend tradition for him and his best friend Larry to get together to cheer on the Rebels.
Charles was preceded in death by his father Sydnor, his mother Kathleen, and his brother Syd. He is survived by his niece Sylvia Spangler (Joe), nephew Syd Hall, 9 grand nieces/nephews as well as many close friends who loved him dearly.
Serving as pallbearers will be: Bryce Perry, Jax Perry, Shaun Perry, Gratz Myers, Billy Joe Lott, and Lewis Johnson.
Ott and Lee of Forest is honored to serve the Hall/Ingle family in their time of need.
