Charles Aubrey (Charley) HarrellMorton, MSCharles Aubrey (Charley) Harrell, 60, passed away on Sunday, February 24, 2013, at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland, MS. Visitation was Monday, February 25, 2013, at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton, MS. Services were 11am Tuesday in the chapel of the funeral home. Interment was in Branch Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Carter Fortenberry and Rev. Art Kintsley officiated.Charley was born on August 18, 1952 in Scott County to Alton J. Harrell and Jonease Fortenberry Harrell. He was a member of Branch Church of Christ in the Leesburg Community, where he enjoyed directing music and working on other church functions. He loved gardening, hunting and most of all he loved and adored his family. Survivors include his wife, June Measells Harrell; daughters, Catrina Curley of Madison and Crissy Noel (Richard) of Brandon; son, Charles Cody Harrell of Morton, MS; 3 grandchildren, Gracie Curley, Lucy Curley of Madison and Aubrey Noel of Brandon; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Elizabeth Thomas; brother, Jimmy Dell Harrell and his grandparents.Pallbearers are Tim Harrell, Brian Measells, Chase Measells, Greg Bilbro, Brian Craig and Jay Robbins. Brody Harrell will serve as honorary pallbearer.
