BURIAL: 2:30 PM MONDAY AT PEARL HILL CEMETERY IN LEAKE COUNTY

VISITATION: 2-5 PM SUNDAY AT OTT AND LEE IN BRANDON



Charles L. Mooney, 81, passed away Thursday, July 2, 2015 at Miss. Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. Visitation is 2-5 pm Sunday at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon. Services are 11 am Monday, July 6, 2015 at the funeral home with at 2:30 pm graveside at Pearl Hill Cemetery in Leake County.

Mr. Mooney was a native of Leake County and a longtime resident of Rankin County. He was an active member of Park Place Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon. Mr. Mooney was a Vietnam Veteran and retired after 22 years of service in United States Air Force and was a Mason. His greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with his family and serving his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Survivors include his wife, Midori Mooney of Pearl; daughters, Carla Stegall (Kevin) of West Columbia, South Carolina and Tina Stevenson (Alan) of Lake St. Louis, Missouri; son, Mark Mooney (Penny) of Pearl; grandchildren, Connor Stevenson and Mason Mooney; sisters, Jane Goolsby of New Augusta and Janice Tune of Kosciusko.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials to Park Place Baptist Church or the Wounded Warrior Project.
