Charles Sullivan

July 10, 1941 — August 8, 2018

Mr. Charles Sullivan, age 77, and a resident of Morton passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 11, 2018 from the Oak Grove Church of God at Polkville with Bro. Robert Gatewood and Bro. Jeremy Price officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery under the direction of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.

Visitation will be from 4:30 pm - 8:00 pm on Friday, August 10, 2018 and on Saturday from 10:00 am - 1:45 pm at the church.

Mr. Sullivan was a native of Mize who loved to hunt, fish, and to work with his horses.  He will be remembered as a man who loved his family, especially, his grandchildren. Playing his guitar was a favorite past time that he enjoyed. He was a member of the Oak Grove Church of God.

He is preceded in death his parents: Archie and Berdie Sullivan, one brother: R.M. Sullivan; one sister: Louise Westmoreland; and two grandchildren: James C. Alford and Michael Cameron Sullivan.

Survivors include his wife: Mrs. Betty Sullivan of Morton; three children: Shelia (Chad) Renfroe of Branch; Susan Alford of Polkville; and Michael (Wendy) Sullivan of Polkville; nine grandchildren: Cody Renfroe, Courtney Renfroe, Caitlyn Renfroe, Carlie Dipuma, Nicholas Alford, Nathaniel Sullivan, Zachary Sullivan, Kaylin Wilkerson, and Kyla Wilkerson; and five great-grandchildren: Payton Wheeler, Sadie Lovern, Jack Lovern, Paisley Renfroe, and Jordan Crump, Jr.two nieces, Pam Varnes and Debbie Moore; three nephews, James Sullivan, Randall Sullivan and Lee Moore Jr.

Pallbearers will be Cody Renfroe, Nicholas Alford, Nathaniel Sullivan, Zachary Sullivan, Brandon Adcox and Dustin Dipuma.  Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Driskell, Shawn Adcox, James Sullivan, Randall Sullivan, Payton Wheeler and Fred Heggins.
