Charles Timothy “Tim” Nicholson, age 54, a native of Star, Mississippi, and resident of Pensacola, Florida, passed away on March 29, 2012.
Tim was a graduate of Mississippi State University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He had a successful career in Assisted Living Services, working the past seventeen years for Health Care Navigator, LLC as a Reimbursement Accountant.
Tim was the proud father of Benjamin, Grace, and Joshua Nicholson. His love for his children was constant and unwavering, and he will be missed greatly by them. He is also survived by his mother, Wanda Nicholson; his siblings Mark Nicholson, Eric Nicholson (Ashley), and Leigh Nicholson Phillips (Brett); numerous nephews and nieces, and a large circle of friends.
His father, David Benjamin Nicholson, preceded Tim in death.
The family would like to thank Tim’s wonderful church family at Olive Baptist Church, and his work associates for their tremendous outpouring of love and support.
Tim’s Christian faith, his generosity, and his easy laugh touched all those who knew him, and we will all treasure his memory and miss his gentle spirit.
A Memorial Service will be held at Olive Baptist Church in Pensacola, FL on Friday, March 30, 2012 at 2:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held in Tim’s boyhood hometown at the Star Baptist Church on Saturday, March 31, 2012 with visitation beginning at 2:30 p.m. Funeral Services are to follow at 4:30 pm. Burial will follow in the Star Cemetery. Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Richland is in charge of local arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or Covenant Hospice, 10075 Hillview Road, Pensacola, FL 32571.
