Mr. Charlie Monroe Bowman, age 77, a resident of Pelahatchie passed away on Sunday, December 16, 2018 at his residence.  Visitation will be held 5pm-8pm Monday, December 17, 2018 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.  Services will be held 2pm Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Ott & Lee Chapel in Morton with burial in Bowman Cemetery.  Bro. Howard Haar will officiate the services.

Mr. Bowman was born in Rankin County on March 5, 1941.  He loved to be outdoors fishing and hunting rabbit, deer and squirrel.  Charlie loved to watch his garden grow and enjoyed working it until his health failed.  He was a good man and loved helping people.  He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents Charlie Washington Bowman and Tommie Lou Lindsey Bowman; sister, Lissie Harris; brothers, James William, L.D. and Donald Bowman.

He is survived by his sons, Jason Wiltcher (Tanya) of Pelahatchie and Charles Wiltcher of Pelahatchie; sisters, Lucille Meek of Madison, Sadie Stewart of Pelahatchie, Ruby Haar (Howard) of Pelahatchie and Louise McGee (Clayton) of Brandon; 2 grandchildren, Joshua & Dylan Wiltcher; a host of nieces, nephews & friends.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Wiltcher, Wayne Bowman, Larry Bowman, Glen Bowman, Joe Bynum and Larry Williams Jr.
