Charlie Cotton

Albert “Charlie” Charles Cotton, age 73, passed away at home on Monday, July 3, 2023.

He was born in Jackson, MS on October 10, 1949, to the late Edward Vincent Cotton and Maggie Sue Rogers Cotton.

Charlie enjoyed hunting, fishing, grilling, collecting antiques, and studying the history of Brandon. Charlie loved to make people laugh. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Charlie was well known and respected. He leaves a void that can never be filled and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his two beloved fur babies, Buttercup and Sugar.

Charlie is survived by his children Chuck Cotton and Charlie Sanford, granddaughter Kylie Sanford, siblings, Charlette Lutrick, Patricia Poe, Billy (Sherry) Cotton, and Eddie (Betty) Cotton, beloved fur baby Jersey, a host of other relatives and friends.
