Mr. Charlie David "Rubie" Frith Jr., age 81, a resident of Morton passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2018 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson.  Visitation will be held 5pm-8pm Monday, March 12, 2018 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.  Funeral services will be held 2pm Tuesday, March 13, 2018 from the Ott & Lee Chapel in Morton with burial in Eastside Baptist Cemetery in Pelahatchie.  Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.

Mr. Frith was born in Simpson County on December 27, 1936.  He enjoyed the beauty and the peacefulness of being outdoors hunting deer, squirrel and dove.  Charlie also enjoyed wetting a hook and fishing.  He enjoyed watching his sons and family car racing.  Charlie enjoyed gardening and growing vegetables.  He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Ann Frith; son, Gary Michael Frith; parents, Charlie David Frith Sr. and Minnie Sullivan Frith; daughter in law, Shirley Frith; siblings, Rayvine, Billy, Clydell, Kaley, Clotene, Mae and Audrey.

He is survived by his sons, Larry Frith and wife, Erma of Morton and Jerry Frith of Morton; brother, Alton Frith (Diane) of Smith County; 5 grandchildren, Larry David Frith Jr., Roxanne Frith, Amber Corrine Frith, Gary Michael Frith Jr. and Danielle Nicole Coutts; 6 great grandchildren, Amira Frith, Micah May Frith, Cecil Ballard, Tomas Hernandez, Adrian Hernandez and Addilyn Coutts; daughter-in-law, Sandra May Frith White; very close friend, John Langdon, many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Pallbearers will be John Jones, Amp Frith, James Frith, Sonny Renfroe, Mark Frith and Don Renfroe.  Honorary pallbearer will be Wendell Frith.

The family would like to thank Kendred Home Care, St. Dominic Hospital and Jack Rhodes Pharmacy for all the great care the family has received during this time.
