Charlotte C. Murray, 73, passed away Mon. Aug. 15, 2016 at Crossgates Merit Health Hospital in Brandon, MS. Visitation will be held on Wed. Aug. 17, 2016 from 5pm-7pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS and on Thurs. Aug. 18, 2016 from 1pm-1:45pm at Grace Baptist Church in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 2pm Thurs. Aug. 18, 2016 at Grace Baptist Church in Brandon, MS with burial to follow in the Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl, MS.
Mrs. Murray was born in Jones County, MS and has been a longtime resident of Rankin County, MS. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Brandon, MS and retired from the MS State Fire Academy.
Mrs. Murray is survived by her husband, Charles R. Murray; daughter, Cheryl M. Hall (Greg); three sisters, Marilyn Maddox, Phyllis Holder and Karen Rasberry; three grandchildren, Angel Tapley (Steven), Bo Hall (Karen) and Dylan Smith; seven great grandchildren, C.J. Hall, Alston Tapley, Sara Tapley, Kloie Hall, Ragen Tapley, Hunter Hall and Lauren Tapley. Mrs. Murray is also survived by her four legged walking companion, March. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Christy M. Johnson and her parents, Ralph and Helen Clark.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Shriner’s Crippled Children Hospital at 3100 Samford Ave. Shreveport, LA 71103 or Grace Baptist Church Building Fund at 205 Value Park Dr. Brandon, MS 39042.
