Chase Morris

Loved by God, family, and friends, Chase Morris was born June 15, 1999, and rode thru Heaven’s Gates on March 10, 2022.  Visitation will be 12:00 pm until 1:45 pm Wednesday, March 16, 2022, at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS.  Services follow at 2:00 pm Wednesday in the chapel with interment to follow in Lakeland Place Memorial Park in Brandon, MS.

In his short 22 years, Chase has lived life more than most do in a life time.  He followed his dreams and passions to the fullest.  He was an all-around excellent athlete, he played soccer, track, band and baseball.  Chase graduated from Pisgah High School and later received his Associate’s degree from Holmes Community College.  Chase had so many different hobbies such as paintball, Parkour, camping, car shows, and gaming.  As he got older, Chases passion for cars began to develop.  He would modify and tune whatever car he had at the time.  Chase never liked his cars “Bone Stocked”.

He had a zest for life and fun.  He loved everyone, and he had a multitude of great friends from various groups he was a part of.  His heart overflowed with joy and God’s love shined through it like a beacon.  He was always willing to listen to his friends and give advice when asked.  He would help his friends with their cars when they needed it.

He loved and honored his mom and dad, and his sister was his best friend.  He was a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend.  Chase absolutely loved his pup dog Louie!  He had a beautiful soul, tender heart, and a smile that lit up the room.

He will be missed tremendously, and our heart will never be the same.  See you later Baby Boy, Cbass, Chaseman, Bubba, Rockstar, Coolcat, AKA Chase Morris.  Survivors include his parents, Keith and Michelle Causey Morris; sister, Taylor K. Morris (Sam Lewis); grandparents, John and Sandra Morris; aunts and uncles, Bret and Deanna Morris, and William and Deanna Causey ; cousins, Molly McCrarey (Jason), Courtney Swartz (Sam), Randi Strahin (Josh), Breanna Acker (Ryan), Terence Causey, Nick Warner (Devann), Tyler Warner, Jason Causey, and Luke and Lyla.  He was preceded in death by grandparents, Claude A. Causey, Jr. and Carol L. Causey, and uncle, Claude A. Causey, III.
