Cherry is survived by her sons, Robert Anthony Fulton and Nicholas Barlow Fulton, his wife Michelle and her two grandchildren Nicholas and Miranda. She is also survived by her sister, Dee Miley and sister in law, Deborah Fulton. She is preceded by her late husband, Larry Fulton and her parents, Joe and Blondell Barlow.
Cherry was born in Alexandria, LA and was a graduate of Quachita Parish High school in Monroe, LA. She attended beauty school and then worked at La’Petite Hair Salon in Jackson for 25 years and ended her career at Ann’s Hair and Spa.
Growing up Cherry played the clarinet in the band. She was an active member of Crossgates Baptist Church where she sang alto in the choir. Later she joined Pinelake with her husband and became involved with many activities including softball. She was an avid 4.0 tennis player and enjoyed playing in tournaments with her friends throughout the years.
She developed a love for other games such as bunko and bridge and enjoyed times with her “welcome neighbor girls”. For those who knew her would agree, “Cherry played to win”.
Cherry’s husband Larry’s birthday was March 6th. He got an early birthday gift.
