Chris Pruitt, age 18, passed away on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at University Medical Center in Jackson, MS.  Visitation will be held 5pm-8pm Friday, December 7, 2018 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.  Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.

Chris was born in Hinds County on January 22, 2000.  He loved watching any kind of movies and was a pro at playing video games.  Chris could be seen driving around town in his Mustang GT and he loved hanging out with his friends.  He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Rebecca Lee Roberts; grandfather, Willie Ray Pruitt; great grandparents, Maurice & Willie B. Pruitt.

He is survived by his father, Jason Pruitt of Leesburg; brother, Skylor Pruitt of Leesburg; sister, Kimber Usry of Leesburg; grandmother, Delores Pujol of Pearl; cousins, Charles Busby, Frances Long, Joe Pujol and Austin Pujol; niece, Stella Wilson; nephew, Braxton Young and a host of friends.
