VISITATION: 5-8 PM MONDAY AT OTT AND LEE IN FOREST AND 1 PM TUESDAY AT HILLSBORO BAPTIST CHURCH.
Christopher Braddy, 52, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2011 at Miss. Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. Visitation is 5-8 pm Monday at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Forest and 1 pm Tuesday at Hillsboro Baptist Church. Services are 2 pm Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at Hillsboro Baptist Church with burial in Ephesus Cemetery. Rev. Ted Hawkins will officiate.
Chris was a native and lifelong resident of Scott County and an active member of Hillsboro Baptist Church where he was a substitute Sunday School Teacher. He was an avid sportsman and also enjoyed taking care of his pets. Chris had a very caring heart and especially loved spending time with his kids, and simply helping other people whenever he could. He was loved deeply by his family and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include his daughter, Crystal Braddy and fiancé Eric Shepard of Hillsboro; sons, Eric Braddy and fiancé Tanya Stevens of Haughton, LA and Brandon Braddy and wife Carmen of Harperville; mother, Georgia Braddy of Morton; father, Doug Braddy of Florida; sisters, Georgia Heggins and Michelle Ball both of Morton; grandchildren, Hannah Ruth Gatlin, Montana Butler, Erica Shepard, Jaylin Shepard, Hannah Eaves, Matthew Bell, Zachary Jordan, Levi Wilkerson, Aaron Steven and Tyler Stevens.
