Clara Davis

Clara Mae Davis, age 85, of Brandon, passed away on Monday, October 15, 2018 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 2:00pm from Oakdale Baptist church with Rev. Ty Danielson officiating.

Visitation will start at 12:00pm until service time.

She was born to the late Joe S. Davis and Willie Allen Davis in Ludlow, MS on May 11, 1933.

Clara was a faithful member of Oakdale Baptist Church and was a member of the Mission Possible Sunday school class. She was a Sunday school teacher at Ridgecrest Baptist Church. Clara was a co-leader of the Encouragement Bag Ministry of Oakdale Baptist Church for Hederman Cancer Center for five years. She enjoyed cutting grass, crossword puzzles, gardening, and cross stitching.

She was preceded in death by six siblings, John W. Davis, Joe E. Davis, Curtis Davis, Rev. Clifton Davis, W.J. Davis and Myrtis Lehner.

Clara is survived by her sister, Dorothy Dickerson; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
