Clara Tadlock Riser, age 101, died Tuesday August 7, 2012 in Brandon, MS following a brief illness.
Funeral services were conducted at 11 am Thursday August 9, 2012 from the Homewood United Methodist Church with interment in the church cemetery. Rev. Milton Koon, Rev. Randy Owens and Rev Doyle Boyles will be officiating.
She was born in the Homewood community on December 29, 1910 to Robert Tadlock and Mattie Craig Tadlock. She married Clois C. Riser and they resided in Homewood. She was a member of the Homewood United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Riser was preceded in death by her parents, seven brothers, two sisters and her husband Clois C. Riser.
She is survived by two daughters, Janice Warren (Kenneth), Wanda Ingram (Bobby) all of Brandon. Mrs. Riser leaves a legacy of six grandchildren; Cindy Stephens, Lori Murrah, Amy Jones, Christopher Ingram (Emily), Kimberly Reed, Lindsey Hickman; ten great-grandchildren, Courtney Henderson, Joshua Stephens,
Audrey Jones, Ainsley Jones, Neely Murrah, Abbi Jones, Madison Hickman, Louis Ingram, Morgan Hickman, Raylee Reed; and one great-great grandson, Jaxon Henderson. Mrs. Riser also leaves behind Beth Smith, her Caregiver and friend.
Pallbearers were; Rusty Stephens, Chris Ingram, Brad Jones, Jeff Murrah, Billy Reed, Joshua Stephens, and honorary pallbearer Louis Ingram.
