Clara Mae Wicker, age 81, a resident of Pulaski, died early Saturday morning February 4, 2012 at her residence.
Funeral services will be conducted at10:30am Tuesday February 7, 2012 from the Ott & Lee Chapel in Forest with interment in the Old Lutheran Cemetery in Pulaski. Visitation will be held from 5pm to 9pm Monday February 6, 2012. Rev. Glenn Hayman and Rev. Milton Koon officiated the services.
Mrs. Wicker was born July 12, 1930 in Scott County to Davis L. Henry and Allie Goodson Henry. She was a member of the Homewood United Methodist Church , a homemaker and lifelong resident of Scott county. She loved spending time with her family, gardening, and quilting. Mrs. Wicker was a wonderful loving mother, grandmother, and always had kind and encouraging words for everyone. She will be greatly missed by her family, and all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her husband, William E. Wicker, two children, James Lee Wicker and Sue Wicker Black and by her grand-daughter, Sandy Black Smith.
Mrs. Wicker is survived by three children, Leonard Wicker (Linda) of Pulaski, Glenn E. Wicker(Recie) of Pulaski, Flora J. Wicker of Canton, Ms. Two sisters, Alice Hollingsworth of Forest, Viola Sexton of Northport, AL; two brothers , Otis Henry of Pulaski and Denson Henry of Odessa, Tx. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, Wayne(Tammy) Wicker,
Mike(Ja Donne) Wicker, Davey (Heather) Wicker, Robbie( Adeline) Wicker, Billy Black, Jim Smith and Teresa (Mike)Sanders.
Pallbearers are Wayne Wicker, Davey Wicker, Mike Wicker, Robbie Wicker, Billy Black, Mike Sanders, and Mickey Richardson. Honorary pallbearers were Travis Richardson and Mack Richardson.
