Clarence Wheeler

Clarence Gerald Wheeler “Buddy”, 85, of Candler, NC went peacefully to be with the Lord on April 6, 2020.

Buddy was born in Newton, MS on June 18, 1934.  He served 10 years in the Air Force.  He supported his family as an auto mechanic with Ford Motor Company during his working years.  Buddy was married to Shelby Jean Davis on July 15, 1954 and was married for almost 62 years before she passed in 2016.  He is survived by his children :  Delores Russell, Delila Wheeler,  David Wheeler and wife Diane, Patricia LeTendre and husband David, Wanda Schultz and husband Steve and  Buddy’s  sister Sue McCullough,   8 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Buddy was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Virgil Wheeler and Addie Zell Wheeler, his sisters Willie Mae Gay and Barbara Jane Wheeler.

A private family service will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2020.
