BURIAL: FLORAL HILLS MEMORY GARDENS
VISITATION: 5-8 PM MONDAY AND 12 NOON TUESDAY AT OTT AND LEE IN BRANDON
Claude Routh, 72, passed away Sunday, January 12, 2014 at his residence. Funeral services were held at 2 pm Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon with burial in Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl. Rev. Vic Bowman and Dr. Ricky Gray officiated.
Mr. Routh was a native of Warren County and a longtime resident of Rankin County. He was a member of Star Baptist Church and retired as a Pipe Fitter after many years. He was a very loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his wife, Jimmie Sue Routh of Florence; daughters, Susan Routh of Florence and Trudy Penton (Ernie) of Florence; son, James Routh (Beki) of Pearl; brother, Gene Bryant of Clinton; sisters, Ruby Bahm of Pearl and Myrtlene Watford of Burleson, TX; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Mr. Routh was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Gertrude Routh, granddaughter, Kylea Routh; brothers, Douglas Suber, Arnold Suber, Lee Suber, Crawford Bryant, Leroy Routh and Herbert Routh.
Pallbearers were Ricky Bryant, Derek Havard, Aaron Hughes, Chris Howell, Ellis Penton and James Owens.
