Clement Edmund McNair, 85, passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2023, at the Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS.  Visitation began at 9:30am until the 11:00am service on Thursday, June 1, 2023, at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS.  Graveside services followed at Brandon Memorial Gardens.  Rev. Alvin Doyle and Rev. Rodney Bounds officiated the service.

Mr. McNair was born in New Hebron, MS on July 28, 1937, to Nelson Clement McNair and Virginia Jo Woodley McNair.  He graduated from New Hebron High School and attended Mississippi State University.  He was a veteran of the US Air Force and then joined and retired with the Mississippi Air National Guard.  He then worked with the Mississippi Gaming Commission.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra P. McNair; sons, Brian McNair and Brad McNair (Kim); grandchildren, Turner McNair, Gates McNair and Blane Evans; sister, Delores McNair; and brother, Michael McNair (Norma).  He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Ernestine Allen; and brothers, Joseph McNair and James Bradford McNair.

Pallbearers were Doc Williams, Bobby Hudson, Doug Palmer, Richard Stamper, Marlin Reid, and Woody Sherman.   Doyle Ferguson was an Honorary Pallbearer.
