Clifford Sinclair Boggan, 82, of Brandon, MS., passed into the arms of the Lord at Hospice Ministries, Ridgeland, Ms on February 1, 2011. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Lowery Boggan and Eliza Jane Boggan; one brother, Calvin (CB) Boggan and sisters Lizzie Dixon and Virgie Berry. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Doris Jackson Boggan; two sons Richard W. Boggan (Pam) and Elgin R. Boggan; grandson Zach Boggan, and two granddaughters, Ashley Graham and Brittany Boggan all of Brandon; sisters, Emma Thompson of Pelahatchie and Georgie Vickers of Pearl, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Cliff is retired with 27 years in law enforcement to include working for the State Dept. of Corrections, former Chief of Police in Brandon, MS. and the Rankin County Sheriffs Department. After retirement he started his own business, Boggan Sand and Gravel, because of his love for working with heavy equipment. In his spare time he enjoyed watching his sons and grandson play baseball.

Cliff was a member of Brandon Baptist Church. Memorials may be made to his church or The Baptist Children's Home or charity of your choice.

Visitation will be held today from 5-8 pm at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon. Services will be held Thursday, February 3, 2011 at 11 am in the Chapel at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon with burial in Brandon Memorial Gardens.
