Clifford Sartin, Jr. of Brandon, MS, age 80, passed away peacefully at home the evening of Tuesday, May 12, 2020. Graveside services will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, May 16, 2020 at Oakvale United Methodist Church Cemetery in Mt. Olive, MS. Services will be directed by Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon and officiated by Rev. Kenny McGill of the United Methodist Church. Military and Masonic Rites shall be performed. The family respectfully requests that all who attend respect social distancing guidelines for the safety and well being of all.
Cliff was a member of James A. Myers Masonic Lodge in Jackson, a 32 Degree Scottish Rite Mason, and a Shriner belonging to Wahabi Shrine Temple in Jackson, where he served as its Illustrious Potentate in 1998. He served proudly in the U.S. Army as a member of the 31st Dixie Division. He retired in 2002 from his family owned heavy machinery business after many years of service.
He is survived by his loving wife of over 56 years, Louise Sartin, son Darrell Sartin (Vicki) of Clinton, daughter Vicki Lipscomb (Russ) of Brandon, grandson Chris Sartin (Kaitlyn) of Natchez, granddaughter Kayla Sartin of Clinton, brother Bobby Sartin (Bonnie) of Flowood, and sister Patsy LaRosa of Fairhope, AL. He was preceded in death by his parents, father Clifford Sartin, Sr. of Brookhaven and mother Azilda Clark of Gulfport.
