Mr. Clinton Louis Alexander, 82, passed away Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at University Hospital in Jackson. Visitation will be 9-11 am Monday, December 6, 2021 Park Place Baptist Church with services starting at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl with Dr. Keith Grubbs officiating.
Mr. Alexander was a native of Leake County and a longtime resident of Pearl. He was a faithful member of Park Place Baptist Church in Pearl where he was very involved in Missions. Mr. Alexander was a partner for many years in Essco Inc. located in Pearl. He was an avid fisherman, enjoying trips to Alaska, Arkansas and Canada. He also loved working with and coaching youth for many years. Mr. Alexander served for four years in the Army National Guard during which time he was activated on two different occasions.
Survivors include his son, Nicky Alexander (Susan) of Pearl; daughter, Angie Clark of Pearl; grandchildren, Blake Alexander (Rebecca) of Pearl, Brad Alexander (Amanda) of Pensacola, Florida and Ashton Clark of Starkville; great-grandsons, Parker Hawkings Alexander and Henry Louis Alexander. Mr. Alexander was preceded in death by his wife, Margie Johnston Alexander in 2021 and brother, Paul Jackson Alexander in 2008.
