Clothylde Brantley Marsh, 92, a resident of Madison, MS passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at Saint Catherine’s Village in Madison, MS. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, Mississippi. Visitation will be held from 12-1:45 pm Thursday at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held at 1 pm Friday at Liberty Hills Cemetery in Farmerville, Louisiana.
Mrs. Marsh was born in 1926 in Farmerville, Louisiana to Taylor and Louise Brantley. She graduated Louisiana Tech in 1946 with a Master’s in Education. She moved to Homer, Louisiana and worked for FHA. She married Ray Marsh on December 20, 1947. They moved to Lovington, New Mexico, and many other places before moving to Brandon, Mississippi in 1978. She remained a homemaker for much of her life. She was a longtime member of North Brandon Church of Christ and a resident of Saint Catherine’s Village. She loved her family very much and spending time with them brought great joy to her life. She will be missed by all who loved and knew her.
Mrs. Marsh was preceded in death by her son, Danny Ray Marsh and her parents.
Mrs. Marsh is survived by her husband, Ray Marsh; son, Alan Taylor Marsh; 2 grandchildren, Chelsy Marsh (John) Money and Dayton Taylor Marsh; 1 great grandson, Ethan Taylor Money.
