Mr. Clyde Elbert Huffman Jr. age 80, a resident of the Crossroads Community passed away on Monday, March 16, 2015 at his resident. Visitation was held 4-8pm Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton. Funeral services were held 10am Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at the Ott & Lee Chapel in Morton with burial in Crossroads Baptist Cemetery. Bro. John Vaughn officiated the services. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.

Mr. Huffman was born in Rankin County on April 22, 1934. He loved to go fishing and be outdoors in the serenity of nature. Clyde loved watching Nascar and watch the New Orleans Saints play ball. He loved talking about all the carpenter work he had done and reminisce about his Army days. Clyde loved his faithful animal companion, Smut. He loved his family very much and will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Clyde E. Huffman Sr. and Zora Gray Huffman.

He is survived by his spouse of 47 years, Louise Waltman Huffman of Crossroads Community; children, Sandra Martin Harrell (David) of Forest, Elizabeth Guy of Pelahatchie and Waymon Parker (Lori) of Pelahatchie; 8 sisters, Jeanett Bates of Branch, Deanie Knight of Pelahatchie, Dot Gray of Pelahatchie, Cammie Falvy of Utica, Frankie Huff of Pelahatchie, Doofy Garrett (Son) of Pelahatchie, Carol Traxler (Jack) of Polkville and Tommie Huffman of Morton; brother, Jimmy Huffman (Virginia) of Crossroads; 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren; a passle of nieces, nephews and many friends.

Pallbearers were Chris Guy, Ray Herrington, Brian Martin, Cameron Parker, Sergio Cruz and Brian Hall. Honorary pallbearers were David Harrell and Rory Moore.

Memorials may be made in his honor to Crossroads Baptist Church Building Fund.
