Clyde Mclemore

Mr. Clyde W. McLemore, age 89, passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, in Morton, MS. Clyde was born to Louis and Ada McCrory McLemore on May,28, 1034 and lived most of his life in Scott County. Clyde married Dot Denson McLemore and together they had two children, daughter, Kimberly Stamper: son Timothy “Peanut” McLemore. Clyde was an avid hunter and gardener, he enjoyed working with old cars, having his snacks and picking with his friends.

Preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Ada McLemore; son, Timothy “Peanut” McLemore; daughter, Kimberly Stamper; great-grandchild, Cameron C. Stamper; and wife, Dot McLemore. Clyde is survived by son-in-law, Phillip Stamper, three sisters, Geraldine Cook, Mary Thompson, Katie Wiggins; brother, Bobby McLemore; two grandchildren Casey Stamper and Chase McLemore; one great grandchild, Emely McLemore; special friend and caregiver, Betty Barham and Hospice nurse, Pam Smith.

Funeral Services for Mr. Clyde was Saturday, June 17, 2023, at Ott and Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Morton, MS with Bro. Morales and Bro. Barron Price Officiating. Burial was in Hodge Hill Cemetery in Morton, MS. Serving as pallbearers were Chris Squires, Casey Stamper, Chase McLemore, Bud McBride, Roger Shoemaker and Mike McLemore.
