Colleen J. Winstead, 72, a resident of Brandon, MS died Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at the University Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Funeral services was held at 1 pm Monday, March 9, 2015 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS with interment in the Glenwood Memorial Park in Richland, MS. Visitation was held from 11 am until 1 pm Monday at the funeral home. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS.
Mrs. Winstead was a native of Morris, MN and the daughter of William Francis Luhman and Sophia Holland Luhman. She was married to Webb Howard Winstead. Mrs. Winstead worked and retired from Mississippi Valley Gas. She was Baptist by faith. She loved her family and spending time with them brought great joy to her life. She will be missed by all who loved and knew her.
Mrs. Winstead was preceded in death by her parents, William Francis Luhman and Sophia Holland Luhman.
Mrs. Winstead is survived by her husband, Webb Howard Winstead; step children, Robert Winstead, Shelia (Bob) Morris, Michael Winstead and Sherry (Todd) Eubanks; sister, Vivian Alban; 7 step grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
