Connous Schaefer, Jr.

Connous Eual Schaefer, 47, a resident of Pearl, MS passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS. A Celebration of Life will be held 2 pm Sunday, November 5, 2017 at Eastside Baptist Church, 3464 Patterson Drive, Pearl, MS 39208.
Mr. Schaefer was a native of Eupora, MS. He was the son of Connous Eual Schaefer, Sr. and Jewel Dean Nebblett Wigley. He was married to Misti Stanley Schaefer. Mr. Schaefer was a Owner/Operator truck driver for Schneider Trucking.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and loved sports especially Ole Miss Football even though he lived in a house divided. He loved coaching his children’s little league baseball and football teams. His children saw him as their “Iron Man” that never could be hurt. He was always making sure his family had what they needed. He will be remembered by his family as a selfless person. He spent one on one time with his children on cross country trips that will forever be remembered. He loved his family very much and spending time with them brought great joy to his life. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.
Mr. Schaefer was preceded in death by his father, Connous Eual Schaefer, Sr. and his step father, Thomas Hyde Wigley.
Mr. Schaefer is survived by his wife of 20 years, Misti Stanley Schaefer; five children, Noah Bradly Schaefer, 20, Logan Ray Schaefer, 11, Magnolia “Maggie”Grayce Schaefer, 5, Denise M. Braatz and Yanina Stich; brother, Thomas Eugene Wigley; sisters, Jewel C. (Robert) Guy and Jennifer Martin; nieces, Kayla Pittman and Alexis Grace Session; nephews, Bret Guy, Ethan Hunter Phillips, Jacob Nielsen Phillips, Christopher Daniel Martin and Chad Dylan Martin; and a host of friends.
