Funeral Service: 2:00 pm Monday, April 22,2013 at Leaf River Baptist Church. Visit: 5:00 pm til 8:00 pm Sunday, April 21, 2013 at the funeral home and 1:00 pm til 1:45 pm Monday, April 22, 2013 at the Church.
Burial: Leaf River Baptist Church cemetery.





Cora Geneva Vaughn, 78, a resident of Raleigh died Saturday
20, 2013 at Rolling Acres Retirement Center in Raleigh. Funeral services were
held 2 pm Monday, April 22, 2013 at Leaf River Baptist Church with burial in
the church cemetery. Visitation was held 5-9 pm Sunday, April 21, 2013 at Ott
and Lee Funeral Home and 1-1:45 pm at Leaf River Baptist Church. Rev. Danny
Dickerson officiated the services. Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Forest was in
charge of arrangements.



Mrs. Vaughn was a native of Jasper Co. She was the daughter
of the late John C. Parker and the late Katie E. Browning Parker. She was
married to the late William R. Vaughn. Mrs. Vaughn was a member of Leaf River
Baptist Church in Pineville, MS. She loved her family very much and spending
time with them brought great joy to her life. She will be missed by all who
loved and knew her.
Mrs. Vaughn was preceded in death by her husband, William R.
Vaughn; parents, John C. Parker and Katie E. Browning Parker.



Mrs. Vaughn is survived by her children, Janiece Smith and
her husband Wayne Smith and Willis R. Vaughn and his wife Sherry Vaughn;
sister, Linda Ashtiyany; brothers, Henry A. Parker and Charles Ray Parker; 5
grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host
of friends.
