Cory “Bear” Bozeman, 39, passed away Saturday, October 19, 2019 in Jackson. Visitation is 11 am-2:30 pm Thursday, October 24, 2019 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon. Services are 3 pm Thursday at the funeral home with burial in Crestview Memorial Gardens in Brandon. Dr. Keith Grubbs will officiate.
Cory was a native of Louisiana and a longtime resident of Rankin County. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Haughton, LA. Cory was a 1998 graduate of Brandon High School and was employed as Towing Manager at Capital Body Shop in Jackson. He was an avid hunter, outdoorsman, member of Delta and Hill Hunting Club in French Camp, MS and loyal LSU fan. Cory was also a Certified Volunteer Fireman, EMT, and an active member of the NRA.
Survivors include his wife, Stacy Farish Bozeman of Brandon; mother, Debra Bozeman of Brandon; children, Bailey Michelle Bozeman and Conner Hayes Bozeman both of Davenport, FL, Kaden Everett Dill and Ansley Allison Dill both of Brandon; sister, Emily Messer (Trey) of Brandon; father and mother-in-law, James and Sharon Farish of Indianola. Cory was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Rev. H. Melton and Margaret Prothro.
