Crissie Ane Williamson

November 24, 1958 — December 4, 2015

Crissie Ane Williamson, age 57, a resident of Forest died Friday December 4, 2015 surrounded by her family at the St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10am Monday December 7, 2015 from the Forest Baptist Church with interment to follow in the Eastern Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3pm-6pm Sunday December 6, 2015 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Forest. Dr. Scott Fortenberry and Dr. Gordon Sansing will officiate.

Crissie was born in Forest, MS to her parents James Mangum and Christine Evans Mangum on November 24, 1958.

She was an active member of Forest Baptist Church where she was instrumental in establishing the Medical Mission ministry and worked faithfully in this ministry. Crissie was also active in implementing the New York missions from Forest Baptist, and participated in mission trips to Chile. She loved people and was an avid tennis player. She will certainly be missed by all who loved and knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter Crisandra Williamson.

Survivors include her husband of 29 years, Dale Williamson of Forest, one sister; Jan Gardner (Mitchell) of Brandon and one brother; Phil Mangum (Dixie) of Memphis, TN
A nephew: Evan (Heather) Gardner of Glenwood Springs, CO. nieces; Brandy Barraugh of Charleston, SC. and Cacie Caldwell of Memphis, TN. She also leaves behind a host of friends.

Pallbearers are Tom Lee, Johnny Emmons, Steve Gibson, Terry McMillian, Todd Vowell and Alan Roberts. Honorary pallbearers are John Paul Lee, Jeff Fountain, Kleber Jimenez, Lamar Gatewood, Andrew Mann and Proof.
