Cuma Lee Ainsworth, passed away on Thursday, March 1, 2012 at Crossgates River Oaks Hospital in Brandon. Visitation will be 2 – 4pm Monday, March 5, 2012, at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton. Funeral services are 2 pm Tuesday, March 6, 2012, in the chapel of the funeral home with burial in Rock Bluff Baptist Cemetery in the Daniel Community.
Mrs. Ainsworth was born November 4, 1923, in Polkville, MS to Talmadge Bradshaw and Maggie Lott Bradshaw. She had a love of music, playing the piano and harmonizing with her sisters. She enjoyed quilting, and when her children were married she made them all a quilt.
Mrs. Ainsworth loved to cook and garden and grow some of her own vegetables. She and her husband, late W.C. Ainsworth would take their children camping, where she loved spending family time fishing and being outdoors.
Survivors include her five children; Charles Ainsworth (wife, Phyllis) of Westminster, CA, Diana Burke of Inglewood, CA, Jerry Ainsworth (wife, Martha) of Pearl, MS, Jimmie Ainsworth (wife, Emma) of Long Beach, CA and Linda Ainsworth of Littlerock, CA; three sisters, Esther Ruth, Margaret Bridges and Margie Ree Thornton (husband, Jewel); three brothers, Douglas Bradshaw (wife, Betty), Junior Bradshaw and Flynt Bradshaw (wife, Brenda); and three grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, W.C. Ainsworth in 2010.
