Dale Barr

Mrs. Dale P. Barr, 81, of Brandon, MS passed away Fri. Mar. 12, 2021 and is today in God's care. Visitation will be held on Mon. Mar. 15, 2021 from 5pm-7pm and on Tues. Mar. 16, 2021 from 10am-10:45am at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 11am on Tues. Mar. 16, 2021 at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Brandon, MS. Graveside Services will be held at 2pm on Tues. Mar. 16, 2021 at the Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery in Mize, MS.

Mrs. Dale was born on June 19, 1939 in Smith County, MS to the late Willie Rea Pruitt and Charlene Foster Pruitt. She was an active member and Sunday School Teacher at Brandon Baptist Church in Brandon, MS. Mrs. Dale also worked as a Deputy Clerk with the Rankin County Tax Collectors Office in Brandon, MS from 1972 until Jan. 2020.

She is survived by her son, John Robert “Robbie” Barr III; daughter, Cheryl Barr; sister, Faye Bledsoe (Dave); brother, Buddy Pruitt (Pam) and 3 grandchildren, Jordan McInnis (Matthew), Jack Riley Barr and Jason Raymond Barr. Mrs. Dale is also preceded in death by her husband, John Robert Barr Jr. and a grandson, John Robert Barr IV.
