Daniel Ray Windham, 62, passed away Thurs. Sept. 3, 2015 at his home in Brandon, MS. Visitation will be held on Fri. Sept. 4, 2015 from 5pm-8pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS and on Sat. Sept. 5, 2015 from 10am-10:45am at Meadow Grove Baptist Church in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services will be 11am Sat. Sept. 5, 2015 at the Meadow Grove Baptist Church in Brandon, MS with burial to follow in the Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl, MS.
Dan was born in Verdon, France and was a longtime businessman and resident of Pearl, MS. He attended Meadow Grove Baptist Church in Brandon, MS. Dan was the owner of Windham Optical in Pearl, MS since 1979. He was an avid squirrel hunter and outdoorsman who raised champion squirrel dogs including his beloved Jill and Hammer. Dan was a charter member of the Country Junction Coffee Club. He was a great servant to the Lord, his family and many others. Dan loved and appreciated all of his many friends. He was a wonderful, and loving family man who will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Windham; five children, Daniel Windham Jr., Jake Windham (Kristen), Michelle Richardson (Jeremy), April Sunshine Windham-Moore (Joe), and Mitchell Marble (Megan), and ten grandchildren, Garrett Windham, Savannah Labor, Sky “Buck” Labor, Jonah Jones, Gage Richardson, Cole Richardson, Mason Marble, Maclain “Willie” Marble, Maggie Kate Windham, and Staten Windham. Dan is preceded in death by his parents, Elbert and Ginette Windham.
