Mr. Danny Hill age 55 and a resident of Morton, MS, died March 22, 2015 at the University Medical Center in Jackson. Visitation was held Wednesday March 25, 2015 from 9 am until 3 pm at Ott and Lee Funeral Home Funeral Home in Morton, MS. Services were held at the Ott and Lee Chapel in Morton at 3:00 pm with burial at the Leesburg Church of Christ Cemetery in Pelahatchie, MS. Brother Martin Phillips officiated the services.
Danny was a member of the Leesburg Church of Christ in Leesburg, MS. Danny also enjoyed working at Fairway Foods as a meat cutter and butcher, but his most favorite hobby was fishing.
Danny was born April 18, 1959 the son of Ray and Annie Mae “Shoemaker” Hill.
Mr. Hill was preceded in death by his father, Ray Hill; his wife, Lou Jeaniuse “Griffin” Hill; sister, Cathy Hill.
He is survived by his daughter, Angel Usry (David) of Forest; his son, Daniel Hill of Morton; mother, Annie Mae “Shoemaker” Hill of Morton; his brother, Paul David Hill of Morton; grandchildren, Brianna Myers, Clay Myers, Noah Myers, David Usry, Dylan Mohon, Brayden Usry, Blake Usry, and other family members and a host of friends.
Serving as Pallbearers were David Usry, Bill Whatley, Brian Blake, Mack Griffin, Charles Carlisle, Charles Griffin, John Purvis, Michael Whatley, and Tony Usry.
Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton.
