Danny Thrash

Funeral services for Danny Thrash will be conducted on Monday, May 4, 2015 at 11 A.M. from the Ott & Lee Chapel with Rev. Jim Burns officiating. Interment will be in the Harperville Memorial Park under the direction of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Forest.
Visitation will be Sunday, May 3, 2015 from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M. and on Monday beginning at 10 A.M. prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.
Mr. Thrash, age 58, of Forest, passed away Friday, May 1, 2015 at Magee General Hospital. He was a former heavy equipment operator and a member of the Forest Baptist Church. Favorite past times he thoroughly enjoyed were hunting, fishing, and attending crawfish boils, as crawfish was a favorite food. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially visiting with his mother. He will be missed.
He was preceded in death by his son: Cody Thrash; his father: Earl Thrash; brothers: David and Dennis Thrash; and three nephews: Andy, Jonathan and Zachary Thrash and his father-in-law: Carvis Brown.
Danny is survived by his three children: Angel Nye and her fiancé, Jason Higgins of Murfreesboro, TN; Jason Thrash and his wife, Sara of Spanish Fort, AL; and Nina Thrash of Lena; four granddaughters: Shelby Nye, Bailey Nye, Piper Thrash, and Lanah Thrash; his mother: Frankie Thrash of Raleigh; one sister: Sharon Burkhart of Pearl; and five brothers: Donnie Thrash and Doyle Thrash, both of Pearl; Derwin Thrash of Brandon; Charles Thrash and Randy Thrash, both of Forest.
