Danny Watkins

Danny Wayne Watkins was born in Truman, Arkansas, Thursday,  March 24, 1955 to his parents, Linzy and Arcola Tucker Watkins, who precede him in death. He passed away at St. Dominic Memorial Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi, Saturday, October 16, 2021 at the age of 66.

Mr. Watkins was a security guard by profession and served his country in the Mississippi Army National Guard, where he was honorably discharged after 11 years of service. An avid music fan, he enjoyed playing the guitar and was a member of a local band. Watching “Westerns” on television was a favorite pass time.

He is preceded in death by his parents; one son: Steven Watkins; and one brother: Charles Watkins.

Survivors include his wife: Mrs. Ann Watkins; two sons: Eric Watkins and Kyle (Kayla) Watkins; three grandchildren: McKenna Ward, Kaylaianna Ward, and Porter Watkins; two sisters: Sharon (Wayne) Withers and Joy Short; one sister-in-law: Helen Watkins, all of Morton.
