Cody Thrash, 22, a resident of Brandon died Saturday, January 10, 2015 in Brandon, MS. A memorial service was held at 2 pm on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at the Eureka Baptist Church in Lena, MS. Visitation was held from 5-7 pm at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon. Rev. Floyd Steverson officiated the services. Services were entrusted to the care of Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon.
Cody was a native of Hinds Co. He was the son of Danny Thrash and Gail Brown Goode. He was married to Tiffany Mosley Thrash, whom he loved very dearly. Cody was a derrick hand offshore and worked for Energy Drilling. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Brandon. He attended church at Eureka Baptist Church. He enjoyed spending time with friends. He loved his family very much and spending time with them brought great joy to his life. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.
Cody was preceded in death by his grandfather, Carvis Brown; grandmother, Joann Moore and his father in law, Hugh Edward Mosley.
Cody is survived by his wife Tiffany Thrash; father, Danny Thrash; mother and step father, Gail and Steve Goode; father and mother in law, Charles and Jeannie Robertson; step children, Bryona Williams and Keegan Williams; sisters, Nina Boydston, Angel Nye and Natasha Warren; brothers, Jason Thrash and Shane Goode; grandmother, Eloise Brown and Frankie Thrash; niece, Pipper Boydston; best friends, Adam Knight and Keith Kennedy many cousins and a host of friends.
Honorary pallbearers were Keegan Williams, Adam Knight, Keith Kennedy, Doyle Thrash, Hunter Brown, Gus Wilcher, Vern Cook, Shane Goode and James Ingram.
