David Brooks Chunn

David Brooks Chunn, age 69, a resident of union MS, but lived his whole life in Morton MS, was a truck driver for koch’s in Morton for many years. 

Mr. Chunn was born in Kosciusko on November 15,1954. He passed away on Friday Feb 2, 2024. His favorite things to do was play dominos,pool,watching western shows,Old Gospel music and old country music and Riding in his wheel chair pulling all the kids around with his wheel chair. 

Preceeding him in death were his parents; Pauline Shirley, Robert Brook chunn. Sisters, Betty June Chunn and Linda Louisa Ray. 

He is survived by his sisters; Wanda J Phillips (Morton), Patricia A Kelly (gulf -coast), Barbara K Stewart (Mendenhall). Four children; James Chunn (K.K) of Macon Georgia. David Junior (Jessica) of Florence. Amanda Kyzar (Chris) of Pulaski. Justice Jackson of Brandon. He was blessed with 11 grandchildren. 

Visitation will be Tuesday, February 6, 2024, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton MS, Funeral Service will be 2:00pm Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Morton MS.

 Pallbearers will be Felicia Creel, Dewayne Boykin, Michael Beckham, John Hodge, Chris Kyzar James Ray Fails. 

Honorary Pallbearers will be Tammy Grantham, Dominick Grantham, Lance Mobbs, Nero Hendrix, Gavin Kyzar. He will be buried at New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetary. 

He loved his Kids and grandchildren so much. He always kept a smile on his face no matter what. He loved all the kids to give him a fist bump and thumbs up and it brightened his day up. He lived a long life he will be forever missed by all his loved ones. 

Songs will be One more day by Diamond Rio, Lord Build me a cabin in Glory land by Hank Williams.
