David Key

Mr. David Alan Key, 57, of Brandon, Mississippi, passed away on Monday, June 17, 2024, at his home.

A visitation will be at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon on Friday, June 21, 2024, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. A celebration of life will be Saturday, June 22, 2024, at Lakeshore Park.

Mr. Key was born December 10, 1966, in San Diego, California, to Edwin Wade Key and Shirley Mae Graham Key. The family moved to Rankin County in 1979, where David would live until his passing.

Mr. Key graduated from Puckett High School in 1985. He loved his family and friends, music, and especially his children. 

He is preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Mae Goldsborough; brother, John Key; and a sisters, Julie Morris and Pam.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Paige Norman Key; children, Steven Alexander Key (Sandi) and Mykayla Abigail Key; brothers, Jerry Goldsborough and Larry Key; special niece and nephew, Emily Byrd (Joel) and Alva Morris; and numerous other nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mr. Key also has a grandson on the way, Ronan Key.
