David P. Miller age 57, a resident of Morton passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at his residence. Visitation was held 10:30am-2pm Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton. Graveside service was held 2pm Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at Morton Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Rev. Scott Adcox officiated the services. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.

David was born in Smith County in 1956. He loved to go fishing and be outdoors. David loved his family and grandchildren very much and will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lamar Miller and Alma Lee Lott Williamson; nephews, Adam Gould and Jake Miller and brother- in-law, James Smith.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Smith Miller of Morton; son, Chad Miller (Dana Lawrence) of Morton and Eric Miller (Lacey Goodson) of Morton; sister, Barbara “Lulu” Tisdale (Mike) of Forkville; brothers, Frank Miller (Miki) of Morton, Ronny Miller (JoAnn) of Morton, Larry McClure of Morton, James Earl Williamson (Sandra) of Morton and Jeff Williamson (Susan) of Collins; 6 grandchildren, Summer Miller, Trent Miller, Bragen Goodson, Austin Miller, Ayden Miller and Larson Goodson; sever nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
