David Peacock

David Kent Peacock, 64, passed away Sat. Aug. 4, 2018 at his home in Brandon, MS. Visitation will be held on Tues. Aug. 7, 2018 from 10am-10:45am at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Memorial Services will be at 11am on Tues. Aug. 7, 2018 at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Brandon, MS. A burial of ashes will be held at his family farm at a later date.

David was born on June 6, 1954 in Luling, TX and has been a resident of Brandon, MS since 1988. He retired after 25 years of service as a geologist with the MS Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ). David enjoyed building and fixing things. He was considered a jack of all trades. David was a very loving family man and loved keeping his family traditions that have been passed down for over a hundred years. A good example is the tradition of Thanksgiving that he kept at their old family home site in Poplarville, MS.

David is survived by his wife, Sally Peacock; parents, Margaret and Raymond Peacock; his two children, Daniel Peacock (Kelli) and Saralauren Peacock (Tyler Watts); sisters, Mona Muckenthaler and Leslie Smith and two grandchildren, John David Peacock and Carson Peacock.
