Debbie Darby

Debbie Darby, age 57, passed away on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at St. Dominic’s Hospital in Jackson.  Visitation will be held 1pm-2:45pm Monday, November 1, 2021 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.  Funeral service will be held at 3pm, November 1, 2021 from the Ott & Lee Chapel in Morton.  Dr. Billy McKay will officiate the services.  Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.

Debbie was born in Batesville, MS on December 20, 1963.  She loved to sing karaoke and make people laugh.  She would help people in need and accepted people for who they were.  Debbie always saw the good in everyone.  She loved to cook and clean.  She will be missed by all who loved and knew her.

She is preceded in death by her father, William David Moore; husband, Richard Allen Darby and sister, Emily Patti.

She is survived by her children, Brittany Muirhead (Paul) of Pelahatchie, Richie Darby (Brandy) of Pelahatchie and Ashley Darby of Polkville; mother, Betty Moore of Pelahatchie; grandchildren, Destinee Purvis, Alexis Jordan, Alaina Jordan, Alley Hudson, Kaden Darby, Kayleigh Darby, Raelynn Darby, Brooklyn Conger and Emilio Warnsley; nieces & nephew, Michael Moore (Delynn), Crystal White (Jeremy) and Kayla Keyes (Willie); great nieces, Makenzie White, Jayonna Mcdonald, Roxie White and Gracie Patti; a host of other family member and friends.

Pallbearers will be Richie Darby, Michael Moore, Paul Muirhead, Willie Haven, Larry Prestage and Willie Keyes.  Honorary pallbearer will be Jeremy Grant.
