Deborah D. Moore

Mrs. Deborah D. Moore, age 71, a resident of Lena, passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2024, in Jackson.

Born on December 18, 1952, the only child of Ray Westmoreland and Louise Sullivan Westmoreland. After school, l she married Talmadge Lee Moore and started their life together. Deborah worked for DHS for nineteen years, before coming home to care for her family. Deborah was a member of New Home Baptist Church; she was a Christian and she loved Jesus. Enjoyments of Deborah was cooking, Bluegrass music, and listening it Dolly Pardon’s Gospel music. Deborah was a loving wife and mother.

Preceded in death by her parents, Ray, and Louise Westmoreland. Deborah is survived by her husband, Talmadge Lee Moore Sr., one son, Talmadge Moore Jr., daughter-in-law, Jennifer; and a host of other family and friends.

Services for Deborah will be on Sunday, August 11, 2024, at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton, MS; Visitation will be 12:00am to 1:50pm with the Funeral Service at 2:00pm in our Chapel. Interment will be at Morton Memorial Gardens in Morton, MS.
