Funeral services for Mrs. Debra Lynn Gallaher will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Thursday, January 12, 2017 from the Covenant Baptist Church with the Rev. Bobby Warren officiating. Interment will follow in the Covenant Cemetery under the direction of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Forest.
Visitation will be Wednesday, January 11, 2017 from 5:00 –8:00 pm, and Thursday beginning at 1:00 pm at the church.
Mrs. Gallaher was born November 28, 1954 and passed away, Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at her residence at the age of 62.
She was a native of Starkville and was a longtime resident of Scott County. She received her bachelor of science in education from Mississippi State University in 1977. Before her illness, Debra was very involved in the ministry along with her husband, Larry in the local area and overseas mission work.
Preceding Mrs. Gallaher in death are her father: Alford Morgan and her step-father: Charles Clarke.
Survivors include her husband: Larry Gallaher of Forest; her mother: Emma Jean Clarke of Blufield, WV; two daughters: Amy (Aaron) Miles of Saegertown, PA and Katy (Brad) Parker of Pearl; six siblings: Karen Patterson, Mary Clarke, Terri Dart, Skip Morgan, David Morgan, and Randy Clarke; five grandchildren: Zachary Miles, Judah Miles, Eli Miles, Jack Parker, and Chris Parker; and a number of nieces and nephews.
